The intermediate goalkeeper clinic is typically comprised of advanced 6,7, 8th grade goalkeepers, and freshman bound keepers that need technical reinforcement, or younger keepers that are technically sound and can train with older stronger players. Clinic will revisit the technical needs of goalkeepers to sharpen technical skills and introduce elements of decision making through game situations. More detailed instruction in terms of handling, positioning, footwork, collapse and grass cutter saves, deflecting vs. catching, high balls, breakaways, and communication. Players will be grouped by ability level. Each age group will have their own goalkeeper coach. Small student to teacher ration of 8 to 1.

Paul Armstrong - From age 14 to 18 trained and played with several youth professional academies in England such as Liverpool FC School Boys, Chester City FC, and Wigan Athletic FC. Played Division 1 mens soccer for Central Connecticut State University. In 2007 ranked top 5 in the US for shot stopping and goals against. Holds FA level 1 coaching badge and NSCAA E License.
