Goalkeeper Training Both Days 2/19 and 2/20. Goalkeepers get ready for spring and outdoors. Small group advanced training for youth premier to high school goalkeepers. Both days will reinforce technical and tactical needs within the modern game for distribution, breakaway techniques, angles and shot stopping. Small student to coach ratio. Moderate foundation of goalkeeper technique is needed. Goalkeepers will be grouped based on age and ability level.
This is an amazing opportunity to train with some of the best goalkeeper coaches in New England. 4 hours combined of goalkeeper progressions to build confidence. Small coach to student ratio; typically 8 to 1. Curriculum designed to challenge each keeper and the group within game situations.

Paul Armstrong - From age 14 to 18 trained and played with several youth professional academies in England such as Liverpool FC School Boys, Chester City FC, and Wigan Athletic FC. Played Division 1 mens soccer for Central Connecticut State University. In 2007 ranked top 5 in the US for shot stopping and goals against. Holds FA level 1 coaching badge. Graduated from CCSU with a degree in Exercise Science. Staff coach at Star Goalkeeper Academy.
Staff will include other male and female college goalkeepers. Additional staff will be named as the clinic draws close.
